Donation Transparency

Accountability, integrity, and responsible stewardship of all contributions

1. Our Commitment

The Informal Sector Workers Association of Kenya (ISWAK) is committed to the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical financial management. All donations, grants, and partner contributions are managed responsibly to ensure maximum impact for informal sector workers.

2. How Funds Are Used

  • Skills development and vocational training programmes
  • Enterprise development and access to finance initiatives
  • Social protection and welfare support systems
  • Research, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement
  • Climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods programmes

3. Financial Governance

ISWAK maintains internal financial controls, budgeting systems, and reporting procedures to ensure funds are used strictly for approved programme activities. Financial records are reviewed periodically to uphold accountability and compliance.

4. Reporting & Accountability

We maintain accurate records of all donations received and disbursed. Periodic financial and impact reports are prepared to track programme performance and ensure transparency to stakeholders, partners, and donors.

5. Refund Policy

Donations are voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable. However, in cases of verified duplicate transactions or processing errors, refunds may be considered through formal internal review procedures.

6. Fraud Prevention Notice

ISWAK does not request donations through unofficial channels. Any suspicious activity, impersonation, or fraudulent solicitation should be reported immediately through official communication channels.

7. Partnerships

We welcome collaboration with donors, institutions, and development partners who share our commitment to transparency, impact, and sustainable development in the informal sector.
